The Centre for Geo-informatics Application in Rural Development (CGARD), National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR), Hyderabad proposes to engage the services of suitable candidates on contract basis to work at NRSC/NIRDPR for the project Development of Application and Infrastructure for Planning and Monitoring of Geo-MGNREGA activities using Geospatial Technology Phase-II initially for the period of one year (depending upon satisfactory performance, likely to be extendable for further period of two years or co-terminus with the project period whichever is less). The details of qualifications, experience, remuneration, etc. are as follows:

 

 

 

 

Project Scientist- GIS (GIS Analysis) – 6 Positions (UR-5 & OBC-1)

Major Tasks Involved: GIS support for project execution towards data readiness/compilation. Essential Qualifications and Experience:

M Tech in Geo-Informatics/ Geomatics/ Remote Sensing or equivalent (OR)

M Sc/ BE in Geo-Informatics/ Geomatics/ Remote Sensing or equivalent with two (2) years of Experience.

 

Should have First class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI Grading of a minimum of 6.84 on 10 point scale or equivalent.

 

Max. Age Limit: 35 Years

 

Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.50,000/- per month

 

 

 

Project Scientist- RS (Remote Sensing based Analysis) – 6 Positions (UR-5 & OBC-1)

 

Major Tasks Involved: Satellite data Analysis for Project Execution. Essential Qualifications and experience:

M Sc in Agricultural Sciences/ Forestry/ Geography/ Environmental sciences with minimum of Two (2) years of experience in RS/GIS.

 

Should have First class with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI Grading of a minimum of 6.84 on 10 point scale or equivalent.

 

Max. Age Limit: 35 Years

 

Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.50,000/- per month


General Conditions:

 

An application fee of Rs.300/- should be paid by General/OBC/EWS candidates through Demand Draft, to be drawn in favour of NIRD&PR, payable at Hyderabad. No application fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

The print-out of filled-in application form (available on the website) along with Demand Draft, if any is to be sent to National Institute Of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad -500 030.

Full name of the applicant and the application number should be mentioned on the reverse of the demand draft.

Application form along with the demand draft, if any should reach NIRD&PR within 15 days from the last for submission of online application.

The offered assignment is purely on contractual basis and does not envisage any kind of regular appointment in NIRD&PR/NRSC in future.

The Institute has a right to shortlist the candidates as may be necessary.

No correspondence or telephonic enquiry will be entertained as regards short-listing, calling for interview, selection or engagement.

Experience and qualification will be reckoned as on the last date of submission of application.

The prescribed Qualifications and experience are minimum and the mere fact that a candidate possess the same will not entitle him/her for being called for interview.

In case of any inadvertence in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of engagement letter, the Institute reserves the right to modify/ withdraw/ cancel any communication made to the candidates.

In case of any dispute/ ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the Institute shall be final.

The shortlisted candidates will be informed about the date, time and venue of the written test & Interview.

The institute reserves the right to relax any of the requirements i.e. age, educational qualification, experience etc. in exceptional cases.

No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate.
