  • Exciting opportunity available for an experienced environmental scientist to undertake research and develop reliable policies within the department

Our Water Group team is currently seeking to appoint an Ecohydrologist as a key contributor to the development and implementation of ecological management strategies to ensure effective water management. In this role, you will plan and undertake a range of high priority science research projects including data analysis, evaluation and reporting and vegetation ecohydrology.

About You

You will have demonstrated experience in undertaking science research projects and activities, delivering successful results. Working in a challenging environment, you will have strong prioritisation skills, with the capacity to manage your own workload effectively and achieving deadlines. Knowledge of vegetation ecology, climate change impacts and environmental water requirements is highly regarded however not essential.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree qualifications in aquatic ecology, vegetation science, or appropriate applied or environmental science
  • Valid driver’s licence and the ability and willingness to travel.
