About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Demonstrate experience as in managing
threatened species or biodiversity management projects.
- Demonstrate experience operating in
geographically dispersed team whilst playing a key role in the coordinated
delivery of state-wide and high-quality programs.
- Proven ability to deliver multiple project
support activities in line with agreed standards and objectives, given
tight deadlines and competing demands and priorities
Essential requirements
- Previous experience developing and
implementing a multi-stakeholder threatened species and biodiversity
management project or program.
- Demonstrated competency in data analysis and
use of information systems including working knowledge of databases and
statistical applications. Demonstrated experience in operational works relevant
to the role, and ability to supervise and carry out all duties safely in
accordance with WHS requirements.
- Current class c driver’s licence

National Parks & Wildlife Service (NPWS)
manages more than 870 national parks and reserves, covering over 7 million
hectares or 9% of the landmass of NSW. We conserve and celebrate our
biodiversity and cultural heritage and provide wonderful natural visitor
experiences for the whole community to enjoy. We carry out plant and animal
conservation and management programs, sustainable tourism and visitation,
research, education, volunteering programs, and fire and asset management. We
work together with Aboriginal communities to manage and protect our parks on
behalf of the people of NSW.
