Job Description
(Project Scientist-D):
Recruitment of one
Project Scientist-D (Programming & MIS) on contractual basis in Forest
Survey of India
Forest
Survey of India (FSI), premier national organization under the Ministry of
Environment, Forest & Climate Change (Government of India), invites
applications for engagement of one Project Scientist-D (Programming & MIS) on
contractual basis as per the DST, Govt. of India guidelines for MIS related
works under various projects/plan schemes at headquarters of FSI Dehradun,
initially for a period of one-year subject to further extension, if required.
The details such as essential qualification, age limit, emoluments, place of
work and selection criterion are given at Annexure-I.
Selection Process:
Candidates
who fulfil the essential qualification and experience should first pre-register
themselves using on-line form available on FSI’s website www.fsi.nic.in w.e.f 29th October,
2021. The
last date for on-line registration is 13th November,
2021. After
screening of the on-line registration forms, the eligible candidates will be
called for interview at FSI, Dehradun on a date which will be informed to them
through email or SMS and the list will also be uploaded on the website.
Short-listing will be done on the basis of
fulfilling of prescribed qualifications, experience and age limit criteria (as
per Annexure-I)
The
candidates may have to make suitable arrangement for stay on their own as the
interview may take more than one day. Candidates called for interview are
required to bring their mark sheets and experience certificates in original.
They should also submit a filled up form on prescribed format (pdf can be
downloaded from the website) while appearing for the interview. The final
selection would be based on combined performance in the interview. In case of
any dispute in the process, the decision of the Director General, FSI will be
final. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing for the walk-in test. The selection
and appointment of above-mentioned posts are purely on contractual basis and
does not imply any form of permanent employment in Forest Survey of India or
extension beyond the period of engagement.
