Job Description
(Junior Research Fellow):
Applications
are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under Department
of Science and Technology (DST)-Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB)
funded project entitled “Modelling the effects
of landuse changes on soil organic carbon dynamics using geospatial technology” at
Punjab Remote Sensing Centre, Ludhiana, Punjab. The Walk-in Selection Process includes
Written Test/Practical Test/ Interview.

Essential Qualifications:
1.
First Class Bachelor Degree in Science/Engineering
2.
First Class Postgraduate degree in Environmental Sciences/ Earth
Sciences/Agricultural Sciences and CSIR/UGC/ICAR-NET/GATE
1.
First Class Bachelor Degree in Science/Engineering
2.
First Class Postgraduate degree in Remote Sensing and GIS/
Geoinformatics/ Geospatial Technology (or related Geospatial domain subjects)
and CSIR/UGC/ICAR-NET/GATE
Monthly Emoluments: Rs 31,000
+ HRA
Desirable
1.
Proficiency in GIS and Image Processing Software’s. AI, ML, Big data
analytics as advantage
2.
Experience in interpretation of data and writing reports/papers in peer
reviewed journals
