Project Associate-1 (Junior Research Fellow) position
in Computational Biology
Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) invites applications for Junior
Research Fellow position in Computational Biology for a research project titled
“Integrative modeling and dynamics of mammalian circadian clock
Complexes”, funded by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB).
Job Description: The candidate will work on computational investigation of
structure and dynamics of proteins involved in mammalian circadian regulation. The
candidate will have the opportunity to work on the integrative modeling techniques
and molecular dynamics simulations. For details of research work in lab, please visit

The candidate should be a highly motivated with good communication skills, both in
scientific writing as well as presentations.
Eligibility: B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Physics,
Biophysics, or allied subjects from reputed institute with good grades. Valid GATE
score is highly desirable.
Experience in molecular dynamics simulations, graph theory and Python
programming would be preferable.
Duration: Initial appointment is for 1 year, extendable up to 1 more year based on
performance
Remuneration: 31,000 INR per month
