Job Description (Project Position )

Applications are invited from eligible and prospective Indian Nationals only for following purely project based temporary position under DST-SERB funded project at Kosi-Katarmal (Almora) campus of the Institute. Project Assistant (01 Post) Rs. 20000 + 8%HRA (or minimum1800 HRA)   Age limit: 50 years*

PC- 01

1st Class B.Sc./B.Tech Degree in GIS & Remote Sensing or Geoinformatics or Geography or Forestry or Environment Science or Civil Engineering

Preference will be given to Masters in the GIS & Remote Sensing or Geoinformatics or Geography or Forestry or Environment Science and having one-year hands-on experience in GIS analysis and map preparation using relevant GIS software.Experience of Soil physico-chemical analysisExperience in handling statistical software (e.g., SPSS R, etc.)

PA will be responsible for- Soil physico- chemical analysis and field data collectionGeo-spatial mapping of the soil indices of tree line ecotoneAny other scientific/technical jobs that may be assigned from time to time and assist PIs/PA-I
